Mission: To direct the Department of Defense’s largest Senior Service College, responsible for the leader development of 400 first tier Colonels from all services, senior US Government Civilians, and international officers from 50 nations, all competitively selected for future strategic leadership, and manage a budget of $200M. The following outcomes were achieved:
Successful Implementation of a Global Action Plan
Restructured the vision, mission, and curriculum of the War College, notably bringing change to the major elements of the graduate degree producing Strategic Studies program.
Successful Leadership Team Development
Selected by Chief of Staff, US Army to lead a major Task Force on Officer Leadership Development, redesigning officer personnel plans and policies for the complex challenges of the future.
Successfully expanded the size and quality of major international student military to military engagement programs in the US Army, reinforcing the global engagement priorities of our military profession.
Successful Leadership Team Transition
Successfully directed the Transition Teams of Two US Army Chiefs of Staff, ensuring the continuity and and change essential to the largest branch of military service in the Department of Defense.
