Mission: To successfully direct, supervise, and coordinate the Headquarters of the Army Staff in direct support of the vision of the Secretary of the Army and the Chief of Staff of the Army. The following key outcomes were achieved:

Successful Budget Management and Coordination

Oversaw the planning, coordination and implementation of the $240B Army budget, and policies and programs in support of a military and civilian workforce of 1.1M, in a time of war and of major fiscal and personnel change in the Department of Defense.

Successful Staff Infrastructure and Operational Development

Planned and coordinated a major restructuring of the Headquarters Staff, Department of the Army, in the Pentagon, and their functions, creating greater effectiveness and adapting to the requirements of an Army engaged in two major overseas campaigns.

Successful Organizational and Team Leadership

Served continuously as a principal Army spokesman in Strategic Communications engagements via all forms of multimedia worldwide, with Members of Congress and their professional staff, and multiple national and international military and civilian organizations.
