David Huntoon, Jr. Keynote at Center for Excellence in Public Leadership
On September 22, the George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership will hold a transformational leadership journey, as we gather together to learn, share, and co-create solutions that make a positive difference in our organizations and in the lives of the people we serve. The Future of Leadership Forum brings together decision makers, thought leaders, educators, and coaches for a dialogue around latest leadership and management practices, to inform, empower, and motivate the leaders of the 21st century.
The event keynote speaker will be Robert Thurman, along with a video of Congressman Tim Ryan, and a panel of experts, Lieutenant General David Huntoon, Jr. and Traci Hughes, Esq., moderated by our Executive Director, James Robinson. Our panel speakers will give their expert perspectives on resiliency and productivity.
Lieutenant General Huntoon, a Senior Fellow at GW-CEPL, was a champion for a resilience program in the US Army. He will discuss his experience with leadership development and management best practices. Ms. Hughes will address how quiet time and courageous conversations have been key ingredients to her success in the DC government.
